Hi,
I have uLCD-32PT GFX module with S I R27 warranty number. So it has R27 PmmC. I m using 4D Programming Cable to reach device from laptop with windows 7.
I m living some problems and need some clarification of some topics.
First of all, do i need to load any PmmC file to the device? When i open the workshop 3 with a sample project and try to load code it says "Device is not responding. Check your configuration and have you got an SGC PmmC loaded by mistake?
When i check terminal tool of workshop i think is being connected since i m seeing button as disconnect. I m sending value and it responses.
is there any driver for 4D Programming Cable? or any serial to usb adaptor driver?
could you please inform me about what i need to do load my program into uLCD-32PT-GFX? I have just, workshop IDE plus programming cable plus gfx module. where to start?
Best regards,

R30 is the current PmmC, but that shouldn't stop you from being able to get R27 working.
What is displayed on the screen when the display is powered up? Please describe or post a photo.
Terminal will connect to any serial port, a lot of the 'default' ports will simply echo what you type to them. Unless you have a program in the display to do that it will not repond in that way.
So I think, maybe, you are selecting the wrong com port. Are you sure you have the right one?
Select each of the com ports in Windows once the display is attached and hover over the traffic light to see the status of any port that is not RED.

When i give power to the module i m seeing numbers 0 to 9 and letters A to F and 4D systems 4DGL Keypad Demo at bottom. When i press any key it results with Last Key Pressed : "Letter".
I m using laptop which dont have any serial port. However, there is virtual com port i think because one of my application which checks serial port on computer sees it but i can not see any serial port on device manager. For 4D Programming Cable i m only seeing it under other devices as CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller with exclamation sign. I think there should be a windows driver for you cable.
When i open Workshop 3 it automatically sees COM3 and there is no another one. And indicator all the time red altough Programming cable is connected.
Help please.
Regards,

Yes, the yellow exclamation mark is probably telling you the driver could not be found.
There is a pointer to it on the lower left of the product page
