I have an incorrect display of characters.
To load the new font on RAW partition, I followed these steps:
1)I generated the file .gci through the program FONT tool
2)I uploaded the file .gci on raw partition with the script writePCuSD etc ...
3)I uploaded the file .dat with correct address on fat16 partition

I used the font like this:

    Ihndl := file_LoadImageControl("bitstream20.Dat", "", 2);
    txt_FontID(Ihndl);
    gfx_MoveTo(32, 24) ;
    txt_FGcolour(WHITE) ;
    txt_BGcolour(BLACK) ;
    txt_FontID(Ihndl);
    print("dddddddd\n");
    print("aaaaaaaa\n");
    print("bbbcccbb\n");
    print("cccccccc\n");
    print("°°°°°°°°\n");
    print("CLAUDIO\n");

Why I have this on  display?
(look jpg)
Thanks

Don't think you can have that there as the filename needs to be 8.3 shortname format.

I can't recreate this on the 2.8 PmmC using a Batang 20point font.

Can you give us more details about the actual font, its size and what options it was created with?

If it is indeed a 'bitstream' font, can you tell me where to find it?

What PMMC are you using?

Sorry the real name of my file is bvs20.CGI (I wrote here that line by hand) .

My LCD has this Pmmc:
uLCD-32PTGFX-R28.PmmC
I downloaded the font Bitstream Vera Sans at this link  http://www-old.gnome.org/fonts/ .
You can see the options of fonts in the attached jpg.
My bvs20.dat contains:
"bvs20" 8600 71F3 0000 0000 .
I tried with Botang 20point font, but the result is the same.

My procedure is correct?

Ahh I can recreate it now.

Yes, your technique is correct, as I acn get exactly the same results as you do.

I can also confirm that this will be fixed in the R29 PmmC, which will hopefully be available in th next couple of weeks.

Hi,

I'm having the same kind of problem (characters not displayed properly) with another font, Chalet London 1960. I also really need to use this, as soon as possible (should have been yesterday). Any news ?

Thanks
